Columbia Basin College seeks a Customer Service Specialist 3 to support prospective and enrolled students at Hawk Central. You will handle face-to-face, email, and web inquiries in a fast-paced environment, guiding students through admissions, registration, and financial aid processes.

The role requires a minimum of an Associate's degree and three years of customer service experience. The position is full-time, with standard campus hours and potential for flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education required.
• Three (3) years of experience providing assistance to customers regarding inquiries, complaints or problems.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service face-to-face, via email/SARS e-Chat, and other web-based channels.
• Assist students in admissions, registration, and navigating Hawk Central; explain financial aid processes.
• Explain policies and processes to prospective students and staff; assist with applications as appropriate.
• Assist with basic registration and financial aid processes using online and in-person systems.
• Provide information on funding resources, deadlines and financial aid eligibility; help resolve problems and evaluate options.
• Process incoming student forms and documents to complete transactions accurately.
• Inform students of account balances, tuition payments, and deadlines; receive vouchers and waivers for Accounting Services.
• Understand collection policies and work with Accounting Services toward resolutions.
• Handle cross-departmental student issues and refer complex cases appropriately to enable continued problem-solving.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
