WSP is seeking a Full Time Structures Representative for our Antioch, California office. Be involved in PMCM projects with the team and support a growing organization that meets client objectives and resolves their challenges.

The position can be located within the San Francisco Bay Area, greater Sacramento area, or the Central Valley. The Structures Representative provides technical leadership for complex construction management projects, supervising construction engineering and inspection

Qualifications

• BSCE or related degree is required.
• Current California PE license is required.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, with at least 5 as Structures Representative.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and materials.
• Valid CA driver's license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to safety policies and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and calculations for falsework, shoring, staging, and related submissions.
• Resolve field construction issues and lead meetings among contractor, owner, utilities, and others.
• Inspect field tests of construction materials and document results.
• Analyze costs of changed conditions and draft change orders.
• Prepare constructability reviews and project reports.
• Manage field engineering, contract administration, inspection, testing, surveying, and quality control on projects.
• Supervise field inspection staff and represent projects at meetings.
