Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Structures MRB Engineer to lead engineering dispositions for nonconforming aircraft structures in a Savannah, GA environment. You will resolve complex structural nonconformances for metallic and composite components, supporting wing, fuselage, and empennage structures while driving schedule-driven decisions.

The role requires 15+ years in MRB within aerospace manufacturing, strong analytical ability, and proficiency with Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Corridor,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical/related engineering field.
• Minimum 15 years of dedicated Structures MRB Engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience with repair dispositions for composite and metallic structures.
• Experience supporting major aircraft structural components in production environments.
• Proficient in applying equivalent strength and stiffness methods for repairs.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and justify engineering dispositions for nonconforming aircraft structures.
• Analyze and develop repair solutions for metallic and composite structures.
• Support structural issues involving wing, fuselage, empennage, and pressurized components.
• Lead investigations and develop innovative structural repair concepts.
• Make authoritative technical decisions impacting production schedules and product integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a schedule-driven environment.
• Develop engineering standards, methods, and process improvements.
• Utilize Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Corridor, Word and Excel.
