Job summary

Cyient in Everett, WA is seeking an experienced MRB Engineer to lead disposition of non-conforming aircraft structures and components. You will review and approve uses, repairs, rework, or scrap, and assess impacts across engineering, manufacturing, quality, cost, and schedule.

You will drive resolutions through cross-functional reviews with senior leaders. Required are 5+ years in aerospace MRB/liaison roles, strong judgment, and knowledge of FAA regulations and certification standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years in aerospace engineering, MRB, MRE, liaison or manufacturing support.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs and production docs.
• Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems and production processes.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and aerospace certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MRB representative for disposition of non-conforming aircraft structures, systems, or components.
• Review and approve dispositions including Use-As-Is, Repair, Rework, and Scrap.
• Assess engineering, manufacturing, quality, cost, and schedule impacts.
• Lead cross-functional technical reviews and drive resolution strategies.
• Author and approve repair instructions compliant with design requirements and certification standards.
• Exercise delegated authority within MRB processes and governance.
• Present complex dispositions to senior engineering leadership and customer reps as needed.
• Support FAA, EASA, and customer audits related to MRB activities.
