Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Structures MRB Engineer to work in Savannah, GA. This role focuses on MRB dispositions for aerospace structures, including composites and metals across all major airframe sections.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering and 13 years MRB experience in a production environment, with proficiency in Catia V5 and related tools. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential; shift and weekend OT may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum 13 years dedicated Structures MRB engineering experience.
• Experience with engineering dispositions for nonconformances on aircraft structures.
• Experience across wings, fuselage, empennage.
• Production/schedule-driven environment; aircraft modification experience a plus.
• Ability to analyze and design repairs using equivalent strength/stiffness.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 and related tools.

• Manage entire engineering projects of major complexity within established scope.
• Makes technical decisions and recommendations with impact on extensive engineering activities.
• Applies advanced technical principles based on broad expertise or unique knowledge.
• Leads the development of innovative principles and ideas.
• Acts independently to determine improved methods to optimize technical product, cost and schedule requirements.
• Works under consultative direction; uses independent judgment to accomplish objectives.
• Develops standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
• Conceives and plans investigations in critical areas where precedents are lacking.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
