WSP is seeking an experienced Full-Time Structures Inspector in San Bernardino, California to perform bridge and highway structure inspections and construction management per Caltrans standards. The role involves contributing to the Construction Management Team across Southern California locations as needed.

The candidate will inspect structures, review submittals, and assist with contract changes and QA testing.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma and relevant post-education experience in structural construction inspection.
• Knowledge of Caltrans practices and procedures is required.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on construction work.

Aufgaben

• Assist inspections to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications on bridges and other structures
• Review falsework, shoring, demolition plans and submittals as required
• Make grade, alignment, quantity, falsework calculations
• Prepare contract changes, RFI responses, estimates and related project documents
• Sample and test construction materials to monitor QA
• Uphold safety policies and conduct
