Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Structures Foreman to lead crews on heavy highway projects in the Northern VA/DC/MD area. You will supervise activities related to roads, bridges, and structures, ensuring plans and safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with structures for bridge and roadway work.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to supervise crew and enforce safety.
• Strong planning and scheduling skills.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and plans and resolve questions before work.
• Direct crew per contract drawings and specifications.
• Plan sequence of activities two weeks ahead with supervisor.
• Ensure safety compliance as OSHA competent person.
• Inspect subcontractors' work for conformance.
• Maintain time and production records.
