Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Structures Foreman to oversee heavy highway projects in the Northern VA/DC/MD region. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, ensure safety, and coordinate with superintendents to meet schedule and quality standards.

The role requires five years of related experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of contract documents. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided as part of Kokosing's package.

Qualifications

• Five years related experience and/or training required.
• Experience supervising crews on heavy civil/bridge projects preferred.
• Ability to enforce safety regulations and use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and plans, and answer questions before proceeding.
• Direct and train crew to follow contract drawings and specs.
• Inspect work and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Plan sequence of activities with superintendent and project engineer.
• Maintain time sheets and production records.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and address safety issues.
