Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or Actuarial Science or equivalent related work experience required
Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) CPA preferred
8+ Years accounting, auditing or actuarial experience w/ GAAP reporting and general ledger application experience required
PeopleSoft or other accounting software applications experience preferred
Insurance/Reinsurance financial reporting experience preferred

Responsibilities

Manage existing transactions, including relationships with financing partners, to ensure continued effectiveness and viability.
Coordinate project team of professionals representing various functions to structure and execute reinsurance and financing transactions.
Facilitate analysis of transactions with pricing/valuation, risk analysis, structured finance, accounting, legal, investments, tax, etc.
Organize project meetings and develop communications to support the project team and ensure follow-up items are completed.
Perform month-end/quarterly/annual financial reporting functions for Structured Finance transactions and liaise with other departments to obtain data.
Support internal control and audit compliance, maintain narratives and inventories, and coordinate audits.
Coordinate and complete special projects balancing priorities and deliverables.
