Job summary

Reinsurance Group of America is seeking an Administrative Services Specialist in Seattle to review client data for loading into the RGA Re Administration system. You will analyze reports, resolve issues with clients, manage statement inventory, and generate accounting entries to reflect receipts for assigned client business.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 0–2 years of experience, and basic skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, plus accounting.

  • Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook skills and accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Review data reports to identify trends and determine upload readiness.
  • Resolve errors via data investigation and client contact.
  • Manage statement inventory within Administrative Services guidelines.
  • Resolve retro issues as needed.
  • Generate accounting entries for premium and other receipts.
  • Review data quality reports to ensure tolerance levels.
  • Translate pre-conversion premium data for system requirements.
  • Coordinate actions among clients and internal departments.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Job description

Overview

The Administrative Services Specialist reviews client data to determine its accuracy for loading to the RGA Re Administration system. This includes reviewing pre‑ and post‑processing reports, trend analysis, and problem resolution. The specialist acts as the primary client contact for administration issues and works with various areas in Operations to implement electronic format changes.

Responsibilities
  • Review data reports to identify trends and provide analysis to determine if client data meets requirements for uploading to the RGA Re Administration system.
  • Resolve errors through data investigation and client contact.
  • Manage statement inventory within Administrative Services guidelines.
  • Resolve retro issues as needed.
  • Generate accounting entries for premium, allowances, and other accounts to accurately reflect receipts for assigned block of client business.
  • Regularly review data quality reports such as Gross‑up, Suspense Policy Report, Discrepancy Report, and others to ensure assigned client companies are within accepted tolerances.
  • Analyze pre‑conversion premium reporting data structure from the client and translate it to the RGA Re system data requirements.
  • Coordinate action between clients, System Treaty Administration, Treaty Development, Administrative Services, and Electronic Conversion Department.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 0–2 years experience.
  • Progress toward FLMI, ALHC, or other relevant professional accreditation preferred.

Compensation

Salary range: $48,760 – $65,790 plus bonus.
