Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil in Louisiana seeks a skilled field Foreman to oversee construction, repair, and maintenance of structures and bridges. You will supervise craft workers and subcontractors, interpret blueprints, enforce safety policies, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Reporting to project management, you will manage materials and equipment, coordinate with engineers, and mentor crew members on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on structures and bridges, including at least 2 years in a foreman role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of bridge construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and practices (OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or trade certifications a plus.
