Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive heavy civil construction experience.
• Experience with bridges, foundations, retaining walls, and complex civil structures.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, specs, and project schedules.
• Excellent leadership and communication to manage a diverse team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Louisiana.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all on-site structural construction activities, including concrete pouring, formwork, rebar, pile driving, and steel assembly.
• Develop and implement schedules for structural components aligned with overall timelines.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and regulations with regular safety meetings.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subs, and suppliers for timely materials and services.
• Direct field personnel and provide guidance and feedback.
• Conduct quality control inspections to meet specs and standards.
• Prepare daily and progress reports and documentation.
• Identify efficient construction methods to optimize productivity and cost.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field issues promptly.
• Maintain care and maintenance of equipment and tools.
