Job summary

McMillen, Inc. in Portland, Oregon, seeks a Senior Structural Managing Engineer with a strong technical background to lead water resources projects from concept to commissioning.

The role requires 18+ years in civil/structural engineering, PE registration, and experience with fishery, dam, and water treatment projects; you will manage multi-discipline teams, develop client relationships, and deliver planning, design, and construction support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 18+ years of experience in civil, and/or hydraulic engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration required; California PE registration strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships and pursue opportunities.
• Lead multi‑discipline teams on water resources projects.
• Prepare planning reports, plans and specifications, and cost estimates for water, recycled water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Design storm water management systems for water quality and quantity control.
