Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Project Manager with a strong technical background to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate is a proven Seller-Doer and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 12+ years in water resources.

The role includes leading design across dams, energy, fisheries, infrastructure and natural resources markets, mentoring teammates, and pursuing business development to grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• PE license required; SE license preferred; NCEES registration preferred.
• 15+ years of structural design experience in water resources.
• 10+ years as a Project Manager preferred.
• Familiarity with Federal Agencies and/or Public Utilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of complete project documents from design development to construction documents.
• Evaluate and apply advanced structural design techniques to projects.
• Manage multi-discipline teams and supervise engineers and staff.
• Gather data from field investigations and review reports to inform design criteria.
• Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Evaluate planning, design and construction support services.
