Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead structural steel projects in the Nashville area. You will own projects from planning to completion, coordinating clients, fabricators, field teams, subcontractors and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction/steel and strong skills in schedules, budgets, contracts and scope management. Office and job-site experience is required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction and/or structural steel experience.
• Proven experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of project schedules, budgets, contracts and project scope.
• Experience with subcontractors, vendors and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working across both office and active job-site environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management systems.
• Experience with Smartsheet or similar software would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel erection projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, fabricators, superintendents, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, RFQs, change orders and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Monitor project performance against schedule, budget and quality requirements.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners.
• Support continuous improvement across project management processes.
