Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a structural steel client in North Texas. This hands-on role manages projects from planning through completion, coordinating with customers, vendors, subcontractors, fabrication teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience within the structural steel industry.
• Commercial structural steel fabrication experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of the AISC Manual of Steel Construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple structural steel projects concurrently from planning through completion.
• Review and assess vendor proposals.
• Set up projects and establish fabrication schedules, objectives, and milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Monitor project progress against production, financial, quality, and safety goals.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Negotiate and manage change orders.
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain effective vendor relationships.
• Identify resource and equipment requirements and support efficient capacity planning.
• Communicate project information and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support process improvements on complex projects.
• Ensure projects remain aligned with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
