This role interfaces with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure bids reflect accurate material and labor costs.

Candidates should have a degree in construction management or engineering and experience with steel estimation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience in structural steel estimating or related field.
• Proficiency with estimating software and quantity takeoff tools.

Responsabilités

• Estimate labor costs for fabrication, erection, and related tasks.
• Determine material costs by obtaining supplier pricing for steel and hardware.
• Develop cost estimates and bids including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to prepare bids.
• Track project costs and ensure budget adherence.
