Job summary

Higharc is seeking a hands-on Sr. Software Engineer to advance framing and structural analysis used by homebuilders. You’ll join early on a new team shaping its roadmap and tech direction, contributing from prototype to production, and mentoring others.

You’ll thrive in a fast-moving, fully remote environment, collaborating with product, design and customers and bringing practical engineering judgment to new building tech. A strong interest in homebuilding helps drive industry-wide impact.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in TypeScript.
• Structural orMechanical engineering experience, whether academic or professional.
• Familiarity with computational geometry and mathematical modeling.
• Professional fluency with modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms and systems behind framing and structural analysis, from prototypes to MVP.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to build quickly while ensuring correctness and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, customer success, and other engineers to define behavior and surface gaps.
