Lerch Bates seeks a Structural Restoration Engineer to evaluate and repair existing buildings, leading investigations and rehabilitation strategies. You will oversee restoration projects, ensuring safety, durability, and performance across diverse structures.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers, developing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of Lerch Bates’ Restoration & Rehabilitation practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, restoration engineering, forensic engineering, rehabilitation consulting, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct condition assessments of existing buildings and structures.
• Investigate deterioration, water intrusion, material failures, and performance deficiencies.
• Develop repair strategies and restoration solutions for existing buildings.
