Red Dot Buildings (Metal Building Systems) seeks a Structural Fabricator QC to inspect fabrication of structural steel and welding processes, ensuring conformity to shop drawings, AWS standards, and customer requirements. The role collaborates with fitters and welders to correct deficiencies before progressing in production.

Responsibilities include in-process and final inspections, verifying dimensions, weld quality, and conformity to WPS and weld maps, with an emphasis on preventing defects

Qualifications

• Read and interpret structural steel shop drawings to verify fabrication.
• Knowledge of AWS welding requirements applicable to structural fabrication.
• Experience performing visual inspection of structural welds and dimensional checks.

Responsabilités

• Inspect fit-up of structural members for proper location and alignment.
• Verify weld size, length, and appearance against drawings and welding procedures.
• Perform in-process and final inspections and communicate deficiencies to crew.
• Reinspect corrected work before release to next production operation.
• Provide guidance to fitters and welders on quality requirements.
