Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil or Architectural Engineering with structures focus
• PE or SE license required
• 10+ years in structural design in commercial/institutional/residential projects
• Experience with concrete, steel, wood structures
• Knowledge of structural design software RAM/ETABS/RISA
• AutoCAD and REVIT proficiency
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience managing multiple projects and clients

Responsibilities

• Prepare project specifications for assigned projects.
• Conduct quality control reviews on design calculations and drawings.
• Perform field reviews and surveys of existing structures.
• Oversee construction administration: submittals and RFIs.
• Ensure project financial success and resource utilization.
• Lead engineers, RevIt operators, and staff.
• Develop structural drawings and calculations for projects.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with consultants.
• Communicate project requirements to stakeholders.
• Plan staffing to meet schedules.
