Delon Hampton & Associates seeks a structural engineer to work on high-visibility projects in a collaborative team. The role requires 1 to 4 years of structural design experience on commercial, institutional, residential or infrastructure projects, with a focus on concrete, steel and wood.

The position offers a limited work-from-home schedule and reports to the Structural Group manager in the Silver Spring, MD area. EIT certification is required, and AutoCAD/REVIT proficiency is expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or architectural Engineering (with focus on structures). Master’s degree a plus.
• EIT certification required.
• 1 to 4 years of relevant structural design experience on commercial/institutional/residential projects.

Responsabilidades

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations (beam, column, slab, foundation, walls for wood, concrete, steel, and masonry structures).
• Read and develop contract plans and specifications.
• Perform field reviews for projects under construction and surveys of existing structures.
