This role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, staffing, and business development while applying STAAD.Pro, RAM, ABAQUS, and AutoCAD. PE license required; 12+ years of experience in structural design and project management; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
12+ years in structural analysis, building design, and PM roles.
Experience with STAAD.Pro, RAM, ABAQUS, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction with quality, schedule, and budget in mind.
Oversee design and analysis of structural systems using industry-standard software.
Mentor engineers, BIM techs, and project team members throughout the lifecycle.
Prepare and review structural calculations, docs, and shop drawings.
Coordinate designs with clients, architects, contractors, and agencies.
Review RFIs and submittals ensuring alignment with design intent.
Monitor schedules, staffing, resource allocation, and budgets.
Develop creative engineering solutions and manage project risks.
Prepare fee proposals and participate in budgeting and forecasting.
Build strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
