Job summary

IMEG in the Pacific Northwest seeks a Structural Leader to grow the team, manage multi-million-dollar project portfolios, and drive business development with a focus on seismic rehabilitation and utility projects. This leadership role emphasizes coaching staff and securing new engagements.

Based in Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR, the candidate will oversee project execution, mentor senior staff, and collaborate with marketing to advance market presence while supporting sustainable design goals

Qualifications

  • BS degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years, 15 preferred, in project management, construction management, or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the team’s project pipeline by building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Manage client and project fees with a total aggregate value of approximately $2M.
  • Bring in new projects regularly.
  • Contribute to new fees of approximately $1M annually.
  • Promote understanding of business development principles and market positioning.
  • Participate in promotional activities to establish IMEG as an expert in selective markets.
  • Serve as a Project Manager on most assigned projects.
  • Lead client interviews and coordinate with Client Executive on BD opportunities.
  • Track market changes with local organizations to align messaging.
  • Ensure financial success and assist in accounts receivable collection for projects.
