Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years in civil/structural construction.
• Experience versed in structural steel erection and AISC standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact for coordination of structural execution in pre-assembly yard and field.
• Assist Advanced Work Packaging team with development of work packages.
• Execute field material takeoffs from design drawings.
• Prepare field material requisitions and monitor PO deliveries.
• Assist Lead Structural FE in inspection and test plans.
• Perform and document inspections for structural work scope.
• Review quality documentation for content and accuracy per plans.
• Interpret design requirements and ensure conformance with drawings and codes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with design engineers or fabricators.
• Document field changes and non-conformances via formal approvals.
• Participate in QA reviews and resolve quality findings.
• Review schedules and ensure alignment with material deliveries and milestones.
• Support manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements for Superintendents.
• Verify progress and input installed quantities to Steel Slayer.
• Monitor actual work progress vs project schedule.
• Lead final area walk-downs, punch lists, and turnover of structural systems.
• Assist with development and review of as-built documentation.
