Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in New Albany, OH, is seeking a civil/structural field engineer to support the construction team. You will assist superintendents with work package creation, quality control, material take-offs, and coordination of design changes to meet cost and schedule targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–12 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of ACI codes, and proven ES&H commitment.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of ACI 301, 318, 117-10, 305R, 306R, CRSI, AISC, RCSC.
Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and project walk-downs with site, ladder, PPE and access considerations.
Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H) and Zero Accident safety program.
Experience with civil/structural construction projects and coordination with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Provide field engineering support to superintendents and project personnel, ensuring adherence to cost and schedule objectives.
Develop work plans, perform material take-offs, create material requisitions, and document quality control inspections.
Review specifications, purchase orders, subcontracts, inspection reports, and technical data to advise on site.
Oversee subcontractor coordination and changes, and ensure field procedural compliance.
