Job summary

Hoffman Structures in Portland, OR seeks a Structural Estimator to join the Estimating department and report to the Structural Concrete Estimating Manager. Analyze project designs and construction documents for structural scopes to prepare cost estimates; this position is fully in-office at our Portland, Oregon office.

The candidate will coordinate with the estimating team, perform quantity takeoffs, review plans, and provide reports to meet bid timelines.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Construction-related field or equivalent.
• 5 years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with CSI specs and data organization.
• LEED accreditation preferred or willing to pursue within 18-24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to estimating team to support safety, quality, and profitability.
• Prepare estimates with detailed takeoffs and pricing.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure complete scope and timely bid submission.
• Present estimates to executive team with unit costs and alternatives.
