Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering seeks a Structural Estimate Lead to guide technical estimating for large industrial EPC projects from concept through execution. You will partner with engineering, procurement, construction, and startup teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates and to identify constructability improvements.

The role provides leadership and mentorship to estimating staff, shaping estimating processes and best practices as Kiewit’s Industrial business grows.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural estimating, engineering/design, construction, field operations, or project management with significant exposure to structural scopes.
• Experience with Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC, and/or Design-Build projects is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of complete, detailed estimates for large and complex industrial EPC projects.
• Coordinate and communicate the project’s structural design within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop estimates from conceptual design through project execution, integrating input from engineering, procurement, construction, and startup teams.
• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, quantities, and design deliverables to identify scope requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Apply knowledge of structural construction, constructability, sequencing, labor productivity, materials, equipment, and means and methods to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Lead estimate reviews and clearly communicate key assumptions, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to project teams and senior leadership.
