Job summary

Osborn Engineering is seeking a Structural Department Manager for our Orlando, FL office. You will lead the structural engineering group, work with project managers, and ensure projects meet client expectations and Osborn standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in structural design and project management within a consulting environment, with staff and client management experience. PE license preferred and opportunity for growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in structural design and project management in consulting engineering.
• Experience instructing staff in project management and client communications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple project teams concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources with Project Managers to execute projects.
• Establish discipline work plans and estimates for staff projects.
• Oversee production to meet client requirements and Osborn standards.
• Supervise projects and staff to meet department metrics.
• Manage client communications and project expectations.
• Execute QA/QC processes for the structural discipline.
• Maintain staffing levels and forecasts.
• Assist HR with recruitment and training.
