Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our water group. You will perform evaluations, analyses, and design for reinforced concrete, masonry, and steel systems across water treatment plants, reservoirs, and related infrastructure.
Work under Senior Structural Engineer guidance on multiple projects and contribute to QC, schedules, and problem solving. The role involves design, analysis, and documentation for projects from conceptual to construction support, including liaising with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; master's preferred.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience with hydraulic, environmental, or water infrastructure projects is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for water/ wastewater facilities and related structures.
- Design and specify reinforced concrete, masonry, and steel systems.
- Collaborate with project team and external consultants to deliver drawings and specs.
- Review shop drawings and provide engineering solutions for RFIs.
- Assist in field activities and ensure safety compliance.
