Job summary
Pickett, an ESP Associates company, seeks a civil/structural engineer with PE licensure and 4+ years in substation and transmission design. You will handle lattice towers, monopoles, and wood poles; perform analyses with PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE, STAAD, and RISA; home in on foundation design and code-compliant drawings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
- 4+ years of substation/transmission structural experience.
- Experience with lattice towers, monopoles, wood poles.
- Proficient in PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE, STAAD, and RISA.
- Foundation design experience with LPILE, MFAD, HFAD, TFAD.
- Knowledge of ASCE, AISC, ACI, NESC, IEEE standards.
- Strong communication, safety, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Structural design and analysis of substation structures and transmission towers.
- Prepare calculations, drawings, and specs per codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, IEEE, NESC).
- Model and analyze using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE, STAAD, and RISA.
- Design foundations with LPILE, MFAD, HFAD, TFAD; use Mathcad/Excel.
- Review vendor calculations and drawings; coordinate with teams.
- Support field visits, project proposals, and engineering deliverables.
