Job summary
Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership for civil/structural systems on federal projects. Responsibilities include design reviews, contract amendments, and QA/testing coordination.
You will interface with designers, engineers, and project teams to ensure compliance and performance on complex projects. The ideal candidate has a PE license in Wyoming or equivalent, 10+ years on large federal jobs, NDI experience, and
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Structural
- Current Professional Engineer license in Wyoming
- 10+ years' experience as structural engineer on large federal projects
- NDI experience
- AISC certification
- Experience with RF Shield and ICD 705 requirements
- Knowledge of HEMP design and construction requirements preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical expert for control of civil and structural systems for federal construction projects
- Review contract documents for constructability and compliance
- Assist with scopes of work for RFPs and government estimates; review contractor proposals
- Assist with steel and welding inspections, QA, and contract administration
- Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, RFIs and technical issues
- Monitor progress, advise project team of potential delays
- Review and provide technical assistance with HEMP shielding and RF shield requirements
