Job summary

Walter P Moore is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team, handling steel design, connection design and erection sequencing analysis for major projects across the United States and internationally.

The ideal candidate has 6–9 years of steel design experience, mentors junior staff, and holds an E license or can obtain one within six months. Tekla, BIM, and SAP 2000 experience are highly valued in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years’ experience in steel design, steel connection design and erection sequencing analysis.
• Demonstrated career growth that includes supervision of junior staff.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred.
• E. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience required.
• Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented.

• Serve clients on major projects throughout the United States and internationally.
• Work within a strong team environment on steel design, connection design and erection sequencing analyses.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
