Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer in Vancouver, Washington to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for moderate to complex projects. This role requires seismic experience to support commercial work and a Pacific Northwest retrofit focus.

You will oversee scope, schedules, billings, QC, and construction coordination while mentoring staff and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet goals and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil/structural or architectural engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license and/or SE exam required.
• 7–8 years building design consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from design through construction with PM or lead engineer role.
• Coordinate scopes, fees, and contract reviews with Execs/Clients.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Serve as primary contact for teams and clients.
