Straffing AI is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead the structural design and delivery of building projects from concept through construction. The role requires a licensed PE with substantial building-structures consulting experience and a track record of taking technical responsibility for deliverables.

Formación

• Active PE license required for leadership on complex projects.
• 10+ years of structural engineering design experience on building projects.
• Experience in a structural/multidisciplinary consulting environment.
• Strong ability to lead projects and coordinate concurrent assignments.
• Experience taking technical responsibility as Engineer of Record.
• Experience reviewing and producing construction documents.
• Knowledge of building codes and structural design standards (IBC, AISC, ACI).
• Proficient with Revit and structural analysis software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept to construction.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on large, complex building projects.
• Direct analysis and design of steel, concrete, and other systems.
• Oversee creation of drawings, calculations, specs, and docs.
• Perform detailed QA/QC reviews of designs and documents.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners, and engineers.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to staff.
• Ensure compliance with IBC, AISC, ACI and other codes.
