Tetra Tech in Ann Arbor, MI, is seeking a Structural Engineer, PE, to join our team. The role focuses on leading structural design and project delivery across large-scale projects, while interfacing with clients during design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with RISA 3D. Hybrid work arrangements and ongoing professional development are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, aluminum, and cold-formed steel.
• Proficiency with RISA 3D; willing to learn Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of Structural Engineers and Designers on large-scale projects.
• Interface directly with clients during design and construction phases.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical and professional development.
• Prepare, check, and review structural design calculations and models.
• Write forensic and investigative engineering reports.
• Define structural systems and model designs using Revit, adhering to UFC guidelines.
• Utilize advanced structural engineering software tools (RISA preferred).
• Participate in Construction Administration activities, including site visits and reviews.
