Job summary

J2T Recruiting's client, a growing engineering and architecture firm with a strong Montana/Washington presence, seeks a Structural Engineer, PE to support expanding regional operations. You will design across wood/steel/concrete/masonry, mentor EITs, coordinate with PMs, and use Revit/WoodWorks/ENERCALC.

Compensation $100K-$120K, with bonus; 4/10s or 5 8-hour days with remote Fridays; location in Bozeman or Kalispell, MT; 3 weeks PTO + 6 sick days, health benefits, 401K, relocation assistance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and active PE license.
• Approximately 5 years of progressive structural engineering design experience.
• Hands-on design experience with wood, concrete, steel, and masonry.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design production across wood, steel, concrete and masonry.
• Coordinate cross-discipline scope with project managers and discipline leads.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
• Mentor Engineers-in-Training and junior staff.
• Utilize modern structural software for modeling and calculations.
