Job summary

J2T Recruiting seeks a Structural Engineer, PE to backfill a key role supporting expanding regional operations. You will lead structural design across wood, steel, concrete, and masonry, coordinating with project managers and discipline leads to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, active PE license, and ~5 years of progressive structural design experience, with proficiency in Revit, WoodWorks and ENERCALC. Mentoring EIs/EITs is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and an active PE license.
• Approximately 5 years of progressive structural design experience.
• Hands-on design experience with wood, concrete, steel, and masonry.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural designs across diverse materials (wood, steel, concrete, masonry).
• Coordinate with project managers and discipline leads to align schedules and manage scope changes.
• Ensure code compliance to deliver safe, high-quality engineering solutions.
• Mentor Engineers-in-Training (EIs/EITs).
• Utilize modern design tools and modeling software to perform calculations.
