Qualifications

• PE license in Structural or Civil Engineering; SE designation preferred.
• 5+ years of experience following graduation from an accredited engineering program.
• Experience designing building structural systems utilizing wood, steel, concrete, and masonry.
• Strong understanding of building codes, structural analysis, and value engineering principles.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor junior staff while managing project responsibilities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our Kalispell team and contribute to a wide variety of projects throughout Montana and the surrounding region.

As part of our collaborative, full-service design team, you'll work alongside architects, engineers, planners, and designers to create practical, high-quality solutions for buildings that serve communities and businesses alike. From schools and office buildings to multifamily housing, hospitality, financial institutions, and retail spaces, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that make a lasting impact.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, Autodesk Revit, and industry-standard structural design software such as Enercalc, RISA, Simpson, or WoodWorks.
