Job summary

DOF Subsea Norway seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to design and analyse structural systems for SURF, Construction, Decommissioning and Mooring projects. You will model and evaluate using FE software, producing robust technical deliverables and contributing to safer, smarter offshore execution.

You will join a diverse team across Atlantic projects, with opportunities to grow expertise and mentor colleagues while ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Experience with FE-analysis software (Ansys or similar).
• Experience with design software (Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault).
• Experience with seafastening of flex-lay spread onboard OCV.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex subsea projects integrated with the engineering team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality results.
• Provide technical deliverables with innovation and precision.
• Drive compliance and continuous improvement by aligning with standards and client expectations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to safer project execution.
• Operate within an integrated offshore services context (vessel, ROV/AUV) and cross-functional teams.
• Expand expertise across SURF, Construction, IMR, Decommissioning and Mooring services.
