Job description

Overview

Join us as Senior Analysis Engineer. We are looking for several experienced Senior Analysis Engineers to strengthen and further develop our engineering team within Analysis Engineering. The analysis engineering team is responsible for delivering fit-for-purpose installation analysis to projects and/or tenders, with a specific focus on safe and cost-effective installation operations.

As a Senior Analysis Engineer, you will be involved in developing models for engineering problems and analyse and evaluate various aspects of a design or system. Your creativity and expertise will be essential in creating and analysing solutions to meet customer requirements and to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

By ensuring timely completion and maintaining exceptional quality in all assigned tasks, your contribution will play a crucial role in the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex subsea projects — integrated with the engineering team — ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality results.
  • Technical deliverables bringing innovation and precision to every challenge.
  • Drive compliance and continuous improvement by aligning with DOF’s high standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Make an impact by mentoring junior engineers, enhancing HSE practices, and contributing to smarter, safer project execution.
  • Be part of an integrated offshore services company combining vessel-, ROV- and AUV- ownership with project management.
  • Build deeper expertise in your field while gaining the opportunity to expand your experience across SURF, Construction, IMR, Decommissioning and Mooring services.
Role scope

You will be involved in performing dynamic and static analyses in OrcaFlex for subsea operations from our vessels, such as:

  • Flexible product installation and lay table development
  • Mooring in-place and installation
  • Towing and station keeping
  • Lifting analyses for complex lifts
  • RAO development using OrcaWave

Depending on project needs, there may be occasional opportunities to travel offshore and gain hands-on operational experience.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree within marine/mechanical engineering or similar
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Strong technical skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities
  • Programming skills (Python preferred) and knowledge of vessel motion analysis and RAO development are advantageous
Experience

In addition to the requirements above we believe you should have the following experience:

  • Senior Analysis Engineer (5+ years relevant experience)
  • 5+ years of experience with OrcaFlex and relevant offshore operations
  • FlexLay experience; experience with SIMOPRO is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of DNV-ST-N001 and DNV-RP-N103
  • Able to work independently and take ownership in projects
  • Able to lead analysis work scopes, and actively share knowledge and best practices with the team
