Job summary

Airswift is partnering with an innovative engineering consultancy serving offshore energy, marine, renewables and decommissioning sectors. A Mid/Senior Structural Engineer will contribute to a diverse portfolio of offshore oil and gas projects with ownership across lifecycle.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, perform structural analysis, review deliverables, and mentor junior engineers. The role offers hands-on involvement, visibility, and opportunities to advance into lead engineer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 6+ years of offshore structural engineering experience.
  • Strong experience in structural analysis, frame analysis, and FEA.
  • Advanced proficiency with ANSYS and experience using SACS.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations independently and review technical drawings.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and calculations for offshore structures.
  • Develop and review engineering deliverables, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Interpret and mark up structural drawings and design packages.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters when required.
  • Support project planning, estimating, scheduling, and execution strategies.

The Role

As a Mid/Senior Structural Engineer, you will support a diverse portfolio of offshore oil & gas projects, with particular emphasis on structural analysis, subsea structures, and decommissioning initiatives. You will work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams and play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions from concept development through installation and project completion.

  • Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations for offshore structures.
  • Develop and review engineering deliverables, reports, and technical documentation.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred
  • Experience with subsea structures and offshore decommissioning projects.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience working within engineering consultancies or EPC organizations.
