Job summary
KPFF seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Louisville office. You will lead a diverse portfolio of structural projects from concept through construction, develop client relationships, and work with BIM professionals to deliver high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate holds a PE license (SE preferred), 8+ years of progressive structural experience, and a collaborative mindset. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for mentoring teams and advancing
Qualifications
- PE license required; SE license preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership.
- Experience with clients, architects, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and execution of structural projects from concept through construction.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
- Serve as technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Participate in structural assessments and feasibility studies as needed.
