Job summary

KPFF is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of structural projects in Cincinnati, from concept through construction. You’ll drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and nurture client relationships while collaborating with BIM professionals and cross-disciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have a PE license (SE preferred), a Civil/Architectural Engineering background, and 8+ years of progressive leadership experience on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership of complex projects.
• Strong background in project management and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Participate in structural assessments, feasibility studies, and site investigations as needed.
• Foster a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture focused on technical excellence and growth.
