Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer IV in the Pittsburgh area to lead complex projects in our Facilities Engineering group. You will own designs from concept through completion, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, practical engineering solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, 5+ years of experience, and PE preferred with EIT required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to more junior engineers while executing varied structural tasks.
• Lead or participate in multidisciplinary project teams to deliver designs on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and review construction documents, drawings, and calculations.
• Present technical aspects of a project to stakeholders and clients.

Education
