KPFF Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of projects from concept to construction in Columbus, OH.

You will mentor engineers, manage scope and budgets, and collaborate with clients, architects, and BIM teams to deliver technically excellent solutions. You will apply your PE license and extensive knowledge of ETABS, RAM, and RISA 3D, while maintaining compliance with IBC/ASCE/ACI/AISC standards and driving business growth within a national

Qualifications

• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Masters preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership of complex projects.
• Strong project management and client interaction experience.
• Proficiency with ETABS, RAM, and RISA 3D.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
