Job summary

NV5's Building Design Group in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to lead hands-on structural design of commercial and multifamily buildings, oversee multiple projects, budgets, and client communication, and attend project sites.

Qualifications

B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering; PE license preferred.
5+ years of structural design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood).
Proficiency in ETABS, RISA, RAM suite and Enercalc; Revit preferred.
Experience with seismic evaluations/retrofits per ASCE 41 a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams of engineers and architects to complete project deliverables.
Coordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product.
Assist with budget estimates and write-ups for proposals.
