Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Albuquerque, NM to work independently on small to mid-size projects and lead junior engineers on larger efforts. You will evaluate systems, perform calculations, and ensure construction administration tasks are completed with accuracy and client focus.

You will collaborate with architects and other engineers, apply seismic design knowledge, and contribute to design standards while managing budgets and schedules to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of related structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering licensure in structural engineering required.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit and standard structural software.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete calculations and drawings for small and medium projects
• Lead junior engineers on complex projects
• Coordinate with architectural and other engineering disciplines
• Perform Construction Administration duties including RFIs and submittal reviews
• Use company and manufacturer software for design calculations
• Communicate design issues with owners and design team
