Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering with 10–15 years of experience.
• P.E. license required; S.E. license required.
• Experience with major structural systems and materials (concrete, steel, timber) and design software.

Responsibilities

• Defines scope of project with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and executing project assignments.
• Selects problems for investigation and develops novel approaches to solutions.
• Conducts quality control checks on calculations, designs, evaluations, and specifications.
• Keeps abreast of state‑of‑the‑art methods in the area of specialization.
• Recommends changes or improvements to plans and programs.
• May function as project manager for routine to semi‑complex projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Performs other duties as required by the supervisor.
• Interfaces with senior technical professionals and clients as needed.
