Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead production work, coordinate design teams, and own project scopes from concept through documentation. You will work on diverse projects in a collaborative environment, leveraging your structural expertise and Revit/BIM skills.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering, 7+ years of experience, a PE license, and strong communication abilities to engage clients and multidisciplinary teams across major projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering with strong fundamentals in building systems.
• PE license required; 7+ years of related structural design experience.
• Experience leading production work and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design structural elements for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry buildings per codes.
• Perform lateral analyses for seismic and wind loading and prepare drawings.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams to deliver holistic design solutions.
• Review contractor submittals, respond to RFIs, and observe construction progress.
• Communicate designs to clients and stakeholders in meetings and drawings.
• Lead projects through Construction Administration and BIM coordination.
